On the surface that seems straight-forward enough. Indaba builds websites, it’s what we do; and not just e-commerce sites, we build and design all types of technology.
As conversation continued, Indaba learned about several issues Spraymart was facing; the 20 SAP integration points, the dated system functionality, existing technology challenges, and a rap sheet of front end issues. As part of the Indaba Way, our team got excited about this opportunity to help solve this set of complex problems. We rolled up our sleeves and put our skills to work!
During project discovery, Indaba came to understand that Spraymart wanted the Indaba team to build an e-commerce website for their aftermarket product line. It was Spraymart’s request that the project be developed unbranded, allowing them to build a separate customer base while also building a sub-brand under a larger name.
Early interactions went smoothly, and the foundation of a great partnership was formed. Spraymart provided an in-house technical resource as well as a project manager. Indaba collaborated with the Spraymart Team, and both sides were able to successfully develop all project and stakeholder requirements. However, this project was not only a new development site build, it had grown to include:
- Strategic competitive set analysis
- SEO and content strategy development
- Full analytics audit
- Audience persona development
- Social media integration
By September 2015, research and discovery were complete and the teams were ready to get started on development. A launch date was set for February 2016.
