by Indaba
With the recent acquisition of Indaba by Cloud Commerce, we now have a full team of talented and experienced developers in Santa Barbara, CA! Aside from their wicked programming skills, you’ll notice some things in common across most of the developers. We swear competitive videogaming is not a job requirement, but it certainly doesn’t hurt!

Donat doesn’t play favorites when it comes to coding languages, but has a soft place in his heart for C++. Donat played Team Fortress 2 at a competitive level with TeamBöNK, and had the pleasure of facing off against one of the top professional teams, Pandemic, at nVision 08. Donat grew up on a dairy farm in New Hampshire, which is probably how he came to be a ranch dressing expert and can drink an entire gallon of milk in one sitting. Donat left the east coast after meeting his future wife through an online videogame. Connect with Donat on LinkedIn.
Shawn Whitney enjoying developing with PHP and javascript(UX). His approach to management is to trust to your people, provide them with support only when they need it and communicate to the individual, not to the position. Shawn is a Santa Barbara native, who cites the 75 degree winters as the reason he would never leave. And because Bryant lives there. Fun fact: Shawn has never broken a single bone, but he does have five substantial scars on his body. He won’t share how he got them though, so we can only guess they’re from a particularly aggressive competitive videogame bout. Connect with Shawn on LinkedIn.
Travis Stehmeier received his bachelor’s at UCLA in Russian Language & Literature. He thought he was going to be a spy, but it turns out he really enjoys marketing and finance. Travis loves to learn and improve (he’s always enrolled in a class, it seems, polishing his skills on some interesting topic) and can figure out anything you throw his way. Travis is a team player that thrives off building strong relationships and collaboration. As a finance enthusiast, Travis loves spreadsheets and manipulating/ analyzing data.
When Travis is not in the business world, you might find him on stage singing in operas or leading sectionals in local community choirs. Travis has sung professionally for the past 12 years and you will often find him humming a tune throughout the day at his desk.
